1 Songs of the West (Wren CD 003)
A live recording, issued in 1992 by Wren Music, of a concert of songs collected by Sabine Baring-Gould, performed by Paul Wilson, Marilyn Tucker and Martin Graebe. The programme is based on a show put together to celebrate the Centenary of the publication of Baring-Gould’s best known collection, Songs of the West, in 1989. As well as the songs, it features readings from Baring-Gould. This CD and the cassette that preceded it are no longer available.
3 Parallel Strands (Wildgoose Records WGS 323)
Our first CD singing together. This is a mixture of songs from the Baring-Gould collection and Martin’s own songs. Musicians and singers involved in the process were Keith Kendrick, Jeff Gillett, Paul Wilson, Paul Burgess, Paul Sartin, Barry Lister, Lyn Heraud and Pat Turner. The CD was produced by Doug Bailey. 5 Nice Warm Socks (Wren CD 008)
This is a CD of both traditional and newly composed songs that have been selected and adapted to be particularly appropriate for young children and those who have special needs, particularly those who use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication – signing, symbols and voice output devices). 7 32nd Annual Sea Music Festival at Mystic Seaport
We enjoyed our visit to the Sea Music Festival at Mystic, CT in 2011 and were delighted that one of the songs we sang, Barcelona, has been included on the souvenir CD that was released after the event. It is just one of 20 tracks by some great performers.

Live recording of songs by singers from the Stroud Singers Club on which Martin and Shan sing separately and on one track (Christmas Lamentation) together. 6 Dusty Diamonds (Wildgoose WGS359CD)
A collection of songs from the manuscripts of Sabine Baring-Gould, with a couple from Cecil Sharp and two of Martin’s own songs. Martin and Shan’s vocals are supported by Keith Kendrick’s concertinas and by the fantastic fiddling of Becki Driscoll and Nick Wyke. Click on the menu tab at the right for more details. 8 Folk Songs in the English Folk Song Suite
Also in 1911, we met Bob Garofalo, Emeritus Professor of the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at The Catholic University of America. Bob specialises in Wind Band Music and asked us to record the songs that Vaughan Williams used as the basis for his composition, English Folk Song Suite, to go with a book he was writing. This was published in 2013, by Whirlwind Music.
10 38th Annual Sea Music Festival at Mystic Seaport
In 2017 we were delighted to be invited to return to Mystic Seaport for the Sea Music Festival. The souvenir CD from the festival includes, apart from 15 other great tracks, our arrangement of Charles Kingsley’s poem, ‘Three Fishers’ to a tune composed by Martin.

Martin has written a number of articles about folk song and, particularly, the work of Sabine Baring-Gould over the years. If he had been more organised he might have a complete bibliography. No such luck! – so here are the ones that he can remember.
